On-Campus Activities
Tutoring: BAPsi members tutor for BADM 201 and 202 in GBB L13 each Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30-8:30 pm. Volunteers are always needed. Email BAPsi@business.umt.edu to sign up. Please check the schedule regularly to see what nights are still open.
Off-Campus Activities
Poverello Center: The Poverello Center is a local "soup kitchen" where people in Missoula can go if they don't have anywhere to eat or sleep. We assist with serving dinner and possibly meal preparation. We need 3 to 4 volunteers each Monday night from late September through mid-April. Email BAPsi@business.umt.edu to sign up. This is a great opportunity to do some good in the community and is a very rewarding experience. Please check the schedule regularly to see what nights need volunteers.
Adopt-A-Highway: This is a mandatory community service event. Beta Alpha Psi has adopted from mile markers 126-128 on Interstate 90. Twice each year, we are responsible for cleaning this 2-mile section. For Fall 2006 the day will be October 21st. Meet in the Lobby of GBB at 9:00 am. Everyone will carpool out to the site and will participate in the clean-up! We are generally done by 12:00 or so. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING GLOVES!
